Subject - EAS – CAP Presentation
Speaker - Bruce Robertson, co-founder of Digital Alert Systems
Bruce will discuss the three laws of EAS
1) It’s not going away - (remember Conelrad – EBS and now EAS)
2) It will continue to change - EAS moves to digital and with the addition of CAP -Common Alerting Protocol. FEMA and the FCC’s ongoing emphasis on ongoing change.
3) You must comply – the requirement to receive CAP data must be implemented by September 2011.
