The presentation will discuss the evolution of remote broadcast equipment with a particular focus on the latest technology and what’s in store for the future. It will examine the various types of remote connectivity and what works and what doesn’t. A key topic will be the potential tradeoff between connectivity and audio quality, and how to avoid degradation of the latter.
Mary Ann comes to us with over 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry with a specialization in audio compression. She offers a presentation alive with real world stories of remote broadcast challenges and triumphs from Bangladesh to Banger.
